The District also contracts with the Town of Cave Creek for a full time Deputy to perform the duties of the Town Marshall. The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office also supports a local youth organization program called Midnight Madness. The program was designed to give youth a place to go for various activities and events in which to participate. Deputies and school officials supervise the program.

District IV North is a unique area of rugged wilderness, small towns and communities that thrive in the beautiful southwestern desert. During the past two years, development and growth have increased at a phenomenal rate. The population of New River and Desert Hills has grown. Anthem is a planned community that is projected to build approximately 15,000 homes. A new school and a charter school were built in the Desert Foothills area and in the Anthem community.
