The town of Queen Creek is located in District VI in the far southeast corner of Maricopa County. In fact, part
of the corporate town limits actually fall inside of Pinal County. Queen Creek contracts with Maricopa County
Sheriff's Office for law enforcement services. This presents a unique situation for our deputies. Queen Creek
incorporated in 1989 in order to help preserve the rural atmosphere that was being threatened by the rapid growth
of the entire east valley. Most of the residential lots in Queen Creek are zoned for one acre or larger, making
it very attractive to those who prefer life with a country flavor.
At the present time, current staffing for Queen Creek consists of a Captain, Lieutenant, four patrol Sergeants,
an administration Sergeant, a detective Sergeant, two detectives, 26 deputies, one school resource deputy and one
community policing deputy.
